This fantastic plant is an award winner and is very popular due to its striking foliage. It has large, silvery white leaves that have a soft, velvety-downy texture, so ideal for a sensory garden, children love to touch it. It can be grown in a large pot or in the ground as a statement plant. It prefers a hot and sunny position in light very well drained compost or soil.  It is drought resistant and tolerates salty winds. The only care required is to remove any damaged leaves and in winter move it to a sheltered position where it will not get too wet from the rain and protect from frost of -8 -10C..
