Who Are We?

Gary McDermott Plants & Gardens is an award winning Plant Nursery based in County Durham.

We have been awarded many Gold Medals for our displays at the Royal Horticultural Shows shows we have exhibited at over the years, including 6 Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medals and the prestigious RHS Presidents Award in 2015.

Gary McDermott has worked in horticulture for over 20 years in many and varies roles, involving retail, design and growing.

At Gary McDermott Plants & Gardens we specialise in mail order sales of Perennial Plants, Alpines, bulbs and shrubs. Lots of old favourites and many new introductions, some of which are rare or unusual.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our plants, only the best are dispatched and our packing and delivery is second to none, with plants arriving in excellent condition.
