A choice alpine bulb originally from South Africa.

Grass-like foliage with deep pink/red flowers with a yellow eye. This plant has a long flowering period, from May and can last until September given care.

Ideal for rock garden or trough in full sun, plant in a gritty neutral to acid soil. Plant likes to be kept quite dry when dormant during winter.
