A South African plant, sometimes known as the Suicide Lily because it grows in inaccessible places in the Drakensberg Mountains.
Sword-like leaves and funnel shaped flowers, usually deep red, but sometimes lighter during summer.
Plant in full sun, in well-drained soil. Height up to 60cm.
