Description

A hardy, evergreen shrub, an improvement on S. ‘Rubella’ An excellent shrub for winter interest, flowers from Sept. to end of March. This plant is offered in a 9cm. pot, so is ideal for winter/spring baskets and containers, but also suitable for the border.
Glossy dark-green leaves and panicles of red flower buds opening to fragrant white/pink.
Plant in neutral to acid soil, in partial shade, although can tolerate deeper shade/ Moist but well-drained soil.
