Description
Very attractive evergreen shrub with upright, fleshy stems bearing green leaves tinged with red in spring, it is a striking plant in its foliage form but then in May – July it develops amazing lime green flowers (bracts) with a red eye with two white ‘tear drop’ shaped buds. This is a more compact version than many of the other varieties. Great in a sunny border, gravel or coastal garden also as a specimen in a pot.. They are very hardy. Propagation is by division or cuttings can be taken in late spring. NB The milky sap of these plants can be an irritant to skin and eyes, always wear gloves when handling and keep away from your eyes. H75cm x 75cm.
